The truth is that we never have "the truth." There is always more to understand about whatever it is we think we know. So if we have some truth, we realize it is unsearchable, and we will never get to the bottom, and if we can become comfortable in that space, we can become again like a little child. If we are searching truth, there's nothing ever to defend, there's no need to debate, and debate is shied away from, because debate is not a search for or discovery into truth. It is a prideful hardening of a position, and a dividing instead of unifying.
