In case no one has told you, homosexual feelings are not ok. It is not ok to lust after the same sex, just as it is not ok to have adulterous thoughts, nor thoughts of fornication, nor are my own sinful thoughts nothing to worry about.1

"And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them." (Ether 12:27)

We have two natures. One comes from the divine and one, because of poor choice, comes from our master below. Because we sin, we belong to the father of sin. However it is because of the grace of God, and his continual striving with us, that we do not devolve further than do. He is striving with us, providing us with opportunity to use our gift of mortality to choose something better. We are unworthy of him, but he will take us to heaven as his backload if we will accept him.

Man is incomplete without woman and woman is incomplete without man.2 We may sin against this standard, but because we are predisposed to some sin, does not make it acceptable. It ought to make us humble. Our sins are given to us as a gift so that we will feel after the only being that can remove them from us.

May God bless you all.

Notes

1. "And finally, I cannot tell you all the things whereby ye may commit sin; for there are divers ways and means, even so many that I cannot number them. But this much I can tell you, that if ye do not watch yourselves, and your thoughts, and your words, and your deeds, and observe the commandments of God, and continue in the faith of what ye have heard concerning the coming of our Lord, even unto the end of your lives, ye must perish. And now, O man, remember, and perish not." (Mosiah 4:29-30)

"For our words will condemn us, yea, all our works will condemn us; we shall not be found spotless; and our thoughts will also condemn us; and in this awful state we shall not dare to look up to our God; and we would fain be glad if we could command the rocks and the mountains to fall upon us to hide us from his presence. But this cannot be; we must come forth and stand before him in his glory, and in his power, and in his might, majesty, and dominion, and acknowledge to our everlasting shame that all his judgments are just; that he is just in all his works, and that he is merciful unto the children of men, and that he has all power to save every man that believeth on his name and bringeth forth fruit meet for repentance." (Alma 12:14-15)

"O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." (Matthew 12:34-37)

"Behold, it is written by them of old time, that thou shalt not commit adultery; But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman, to lust after her, hath committed adultery already in his heart. Behold, I give unto you a commandment, that ye suffer none of these things to enter into your heart." (3 Nephi 12:28)

2. "Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord." (1 Corinthians 11:11)
