Moses:

"And I, God, said: Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven, to divide the day from the night, and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and for years; And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth; and it was so." (Moses 2:14-15)

Abraham:

"But the records of the fathers, even the patriarchs, concerning the right of Priesthood, the Lord my God preserved in mine own hands; therefore a knowledge of the beginning of the creation, and also of the planets, and of the stars, as they were made known unto the fathers, have I kept even unto this day, and I shall endeavor to write some of these things upon this record, for the benefit of my posterity that shall come after me." (Abraham 1:31)

"And the Gods organized the lights in the expanse of the heaven, and caused them to divide the day from the night; and organized them to be for signs and for seasons, and for days and for years; And organized them to be for lights in the expanse of the heaven to give light upon the earth; and it was so." (Abraham 4:14-15)

Joseph:

"God shall give unto you knowledge by his Holy Spirit, yea, by the unspeakable gift of the Holy Ghost, that has not been revealed since the world was until now; Which our forefathers have awaited with anxious expectation to be revealed in the last times, which their minds were pointed to by the angels, as held in reserve for the fulness of their glory; A time to come in the which nothing shall be withheld, whether there be one God or many gods, they shall be manifest. All thrones and dominions, principalities and powers, shall be revealed and set forth upon all who have endured valiantly for the gospel of Jesus Christ. And also, if there be bounds set to the heavens or to the seas, or to the dry land, or to the sun, moon, or stars--All the times of their revolutions, all the appointed days, months, and years, and all the days of their days, months, and years, and all their glories, laws, and set times, shall be revealed in the days of the dispensation of the fulness of times--According to that which was ordained in the midst of the Council of the Eternal God of all other gods before this world was, that should be reserved unto the finishing and the end thereof, when every man shall enter into his eternal presence and into his immortal rest." (D&C 121:26-32)

Jeremiah:

"Thus saith the Lord, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Lord of hosts is his name: If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the Lord, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever." (Jeremiah 31:35-36)

Alma:

"Now these mysteries are not yet fully made known unto me; therefore I shall forbear. And it may suffice if I only say they are preserved for a wise purpose, which purpose is known unto God; for he doth counsel in wisdom over all his works, and his paths are straight, and his course is one eternal round." (Alma 37:11-12)

Job:

"Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons? Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?" (Job 38:31-33)

Pslams:

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. (Psalm 19:1-3)

Wise men from the East:

"Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him." (Matthew 2:2)

Isaiah

"Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing." (Isaiah 40:26, NIV)

Joel

"And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come." (Joel 2:30-31)

Jesus

"And immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven shall be shaken." (Matthew 1:33 JST)

"And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;" (Luke 21:25)

"And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost." (Luke 23:44-46)

Below are my developing thoughts regarding the representation of constellations on the ecliptic.

Gemini

Castor and Pollux named for the two brightest stars on the heads of each twin. Gemini, Geminate means duplicated, found in pairs.

"In the image of his own body, male and female, created he them." (Moses 6:9)

"And from that time forth, the sons and daughters of Adam began to divide two and two in the land." (Moses 5:3)

Adam and Eve. Eve was taken from Adam's rib, they are literally twins.

Represents the age of the patriarchs from Adam and Eve to Melchizedek who's people joined their fathers on the other side of the flood in Zion.

Taurus

Abraham. Constellation represented as a bull, Brama, Abraham.

Brahmin: a member of the highest, or priestly, class among the Hindus.

Horns (strength), Pleadies could be a shepher's staff (authority). Or in Hebrew "El" is literally means strong authority.

"The word el was originally written with two pictographic letters, one being an ox head and the other a shepherd staff. The ox represented strength and the staff of the shepherd represented authority." (http://www.ancient-hebrew.org/27_god.html)

Abraham recieved a blessing from Melchizedek. New sign represents a new age of finding God in apostasy, includes Jacob, Moses and all the prophets that came out of Israel from a comdemned, Aaronic nation.

"In Hinduism, Brahma is believed to be the father of the worlds, while his wife Saraswati is belived to be the mother of the worlds. Likewise, in Judaism, Abraham is believed to be the father of the nations, while Sarai is believed to be the mother of the nations. The etymological connection between Abraham and Brahma, and between Sarai and Saraswati, has already been recognized by historians.

"The connection does not end there, however. Brahma's second wife Gayatri is portrayed as Keturah, Abraham's second wife, in Jewish Bible. G changed to K, and with vowel adjustments, Gayatri changed to Keturah. Hagar, the handmaiden of Sarai, is the same as the tributary of river Saraswati, the river by name Ghaggar in India! Ghaggar/Hagar -- the resemblance is overwhelming -- it is just that consonant G has been replaced by consonant H when the word traveled over, because H and G belong to same consonant batch. And the relations Hagar/Ghaggar have with Sarai/Saraswati are quite revealing in themselves.

"Ghaggar is a tributary to river Saraswati and this relation of being tributary is being described as that of handmaiden. Saraswati is the mighty river and Ghaggar is small tributary to it. Similarly, Sarai is the real mistress holding all the powers while Hagar is just handmaiden under her. Not just these, the entire Hindu pantheon, right to the Vedic Gods, is listed out there, in the most prominent section of the Bible! What is the Hindu pantheon doing in the most prominent section of the Bible?" (http://www.viewzone.com/etymology.html)

Aries

Jesus. Represented popularly as a ram. As in a ram in the thicket found by Abraham and Issac.

A ram's head and horns appears in the likeness of the female uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries. This has been noted as far back as the seventh century A.D. in The Etymologies of Isidore of Seville. It is by virtue of the ram that we have the opportunity to be begotten sons and daughters unto God. The sacrifice and travail of childbirth is often likened to the atonement.

Pisces

Peter. Peter was a fisherman. He was told by Jesus that he would make him a fisher of men. Peter was sent to the Gentiles. The gospel net receives all kinds of fish. The greater, larger fish will circle the ecliptic eternally, never receiving anything better. The smaller points to the sides of the north where God resides.

The Age of the Gentiles. The Gentile defect, as noted by the Savior was to look to great men who robbed and persecuted them and call them "benefactors." Thus the larger fish circles the ecliptic forever, the smaller points the sides of the north. Time of Gentiles starts at Christ, ends in tribulation when the Father commences his work.

Aquarius

The of knowledge coverin the earth as the waters cover the sea, when no man need say "know the Lord" for all will know him who remain from the least to the greatest. Blessings of heaven (water) poured out upon th earth.

Before this time the wicked will be burned, the terrestrial will wax and wane until they rise to become among the Eloheim, or descend to the deaths.

The pouring out of blessings is inseperable from the scourging to remove the unworthy.

"For I, the Almighty, have laid my hands upon the nations, to scourge them for their wickedness. And plagues shall go forth, and they shall not be taken from the earth until I have completed my work, which shall be cut short in righteousness—Until all shall know me, who remain, even from the least unto the greatest, and shall be filled with the knowledge of the Lord, and shall see eye to eye" (D&C 84:96-98)

"But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more." (Jeremiah 31:33-34)

Capricorn

Popularly represented as goat with a fish's tale. Or mountain-goat and sea goat. Could represent transformation, coming out of the sea, which may represent the deaths, ascending the mountain, or ladder. Goats are noted for their ability to escape confinement. The dual nature may also be a symbol of the man and woman. As Aquarius extends one arm to pour out water, the other arm is extended toward and over Capricorn.

Sagittarius

Popularly represented as a half-human, half-horse (centaur) with a bow and arrow. At the feet of Sagittarius is a crown Corona Australis.1 Though he attained, an arrow aims at a (still) distant target.

"Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 3:8-14, emphasis added.)

Arrow tips were often made of flint. "For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed." (Isaiah 50:7)

"The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him: But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)" (Genesis 49:23-24)

Notes

1. "The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,  Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created." (Revelation 4:10-11)

Scorpius

Crowns were forged, with this comes weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth of others. False hope is dashed. The sting is like a lake of fire and brimstone.

Popularly represented as a scorpion.

The head of the scorpion is formed by three prominent stars. His tail draws a third part, not from the center of the galaxy, but off-center.

"And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon...And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth." (Revelation 12:3-4)

The Scorpion stung Orion on the heel (marked by the star Rigel, beta Orion) and killed him. These two opponents Orion and the Scorpion were placed amongst the stars as their namesake constellations, but are positioned on opposite sides of the sky, one sets as the other rises. The Scorpion rises as Orion starts to sink into the other side of the sky, and this was seen as Orion running away from the attacker, and still in fear of him.

"Mythologically, a sacred heel is that part of the sun or moon that at setting touches earth or sea [on the horizon]. The bruise it receives is poisonous in that it causes the whole body to collapse or sink." (Outer Space: Myths, Name Meanings, 1964. p.239.) "The Semang believe that at death the soul leaves the body through the heel (ELIC p. 281). Scorpions and snakes most often bite the heel. The heel is, as it were, the foundation-stone of the human being with the characteristically upright stance. Once the heel is affected, the person falls down." (The Penguin Dictionary of Symbols).

"And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, between thy seed and her seed; and he shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." (Moses 4:21)

Libra

Represented as balance scales. Justice. Freedom. Currently the sun traverses this sign during the autumnal equinox.

Final Judgment? All are in their new places. Ressurected to life and damnation.

Virgo

Represented as a virgin as in "And there appeared a great sign in heaven, in the likeness of things on the earth; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars." (Revelation 12:1)

Leo

Represented as a Lion.

Cancer

Represented as a crab.
