I've really enjoyed everything I've heard so far from Mena Lee Grebin.

In Moroni 6 it states "their meetings were conducted by the church after the manner of the workings of the Spirit, and by the power of the Holy Ghost; for as the power of the Holy Ghost led them whether to preach, or to exhort, or to pray, or to supplicate, or to sing, even so it was done."

In other words, the Lord's spirit conducted their meetings. He was their order.

We talk about a house of order. I think as profit, corporate and military focused Gentiles, we tend to overlay our understanding of order on the Lord, and letting go is incomprehensible.

When Paul spoke those familiar words about one Lord, one faith, one baptism, I don't believe he was talking about a creed. I believe he was talking about the Lord being the order.

There is a church of the Firstborn, and entry into that church is never made as casually as we join any denomination today. In that church, he stands at the gate and employs no servant there. He cannot be deceived.

Joseph was a member of this church, and inasmuch as he established an earthly organization, it was to help others to gain membership in the only church that matters. Several, including his mother Lucy, and his derided wife Emma said without Joseph, there is no church.

Faith comes by hearing the word of God by those who know him. They are the fruit. The important part of the fruit as Mena aptly explains, is that they have seed in themselves, and can help to plant it in others.

There are several others that have had visitations from the Lord in all walks of life. I believe the Lord is working among all people, in His order to bring forth as much fruit as he can from all people before his vineyard is burned.

He first offered to the rich, wise and noble, and now he is calling upon the highways, everyone is invited, his wedding feast needs to be furnished with guests.

A command given by the Lord to Mena:

"Thus the saith the Lord: What is coming upon this nation will affect many who claim to follow me. This is because not everyone who is a part of the church I call my bride. Many believe that they will be shielded from the judgment, when, in fact, they will go through it. Not everyone who calls upon my name will enter into my kingdom. For every ten people who pray to me and declare me as their Lord, I only know one says the Lord of Hosts.

"Thus saith the Lord God: I have sent you my prophets to warn you of your disobedience and your pride, but you have rejected them. You have chosen to follow those who only speak smooth words and deceptions, and I have not sent them. They are not my prophets. Therefore when I pass judgment on this nation, you will feel it. Repent says the Lord of Hosts. Turn to me and seek my face, for the day of the Lord is at-hand. And know that even in my judgment, I Am merciful.

"Judgment will be issued upon the United States of America according to Isaiah chapter 17 verses 10 and 11."

NKJ
"Because you have forgotten the God of your salvation, And have not been mindful of the Rock of your stronghold, Therefore you will plant pleasant plants And set out foreign seedlings; In the day you will make your plant to grow, And in the morning you will make your seed to flourish; But the harvest will be a heap of ruins In the day of grief and desperate sorrow."

Avraham Gileadi
"For you have forgotten your God, your salvation, and not remembered the Rock, your fortress. Therefore, though you plant choice crops and sow hybrid seed, and though you make them thrive the day you plant them, causing them to sprout the very morning you sow them, yet shall the harvest vanishin a day of diseases and incurable pain."

The Lord speaks to whomever, whenever and wherever he chooses and pleases. He is liberal, and no respector of persons, after all:

"Know ye not that there are more nations than one? Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the isles of the sea; and that I rule in the heavens above and in the earth beneath; and I bring forth my word unto the children of men, yea, even upon all the nations of the earth?

"Wherefore murmur ye, because that ye shall receive more of my word? Know ye not that the testimony of two nations is a witness unto you that I am God, that I remember one nation like unto another? Wherefore, I speak the same words unto one nation like unto another. And when the two nations shall run together the testimony of the two nations shall run together also.

"And I do this that I may prove unto many that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and that I speak forth my words according to mine own pleasure. And because that I have spoken one word ye need not suppose that I cannot speak another; for my work is not yet finished; neither shall it be until the end of man, neither from that time henceforth and forever.

"Wherefore, because that ye have a Bible ye need not suppose that it contains all my words; neither need ye suppose that I have not caused more to be written. For I command all men, both in the east and in the west, and in the north, and in the south, and in the islands of the sea, that they shall write the words which I speak unto them; for out of the books which shall be written I will judge the world, every man according to their works, according to that which is written." (2 Nephi 29:7-11)

A Conversation

L: How did you get into Mena Grebin?

MSB: Link someone shared on FB. Actually it was a snuffer readers group message. I usually don't see those because I have a filter put them in a folder, but every now and then one gets through to my inbox.

L: What's your draw to it. I've listened to a few minutes but it's not really speaking to me yet.

MSB: Try listening to her Rick Wiles interview first (part 1, part 2). That's two hours though. My draw is she seems to me to be authentic. And that God is doing a work through her.

L: I guess I'm asking what's different about watching her videos vs watching any other evangelical  scripture video? Is it just "yeah she's got the right idea" or is it "you should watch this cuz this gal can help you come to Christ"? Does that make sense? Trying to figure out if I should invest in it or not.

MSB: She has a different view that's very similar to Denver's, though not as complex or Mormonesque. She has claimed multiple visitations and visions since she was seven. She has some interesting end time prophecies regarding September. [Others have likewise including Rabbi Chan, This Blogger, and This Mother]

L: Ahhhh...now we're talking.

MSB: She said she was told the end for America would come out of Chicago. And this is our last president. The elections would at least be delayed.

She delayed following the instructions of the Savior (literal appearance) once and an angel came to rebuke her saying she had not done as the Lord required. It has a lot of the earmarkes.

She was told to get a specific amount of food for her ministry and have it complete by this summer. She said we must share our food, or it will be impossible for God to multiply it.

God gave her a revelation and told her to use the words "thus saith the Lord." And gave it to her word for word.

L: You know I've been reading Jeremiah and Ezekiel and it's been bothering me why we don't have prophets among us warning like they did, specifically, saying those words. There was a prophetess in their time.

MSB: A command given by the Lord to Mena:

"Thus the saith the Lord: What is coming upon this nation will affect many who claim to follow me. This is because not everyone who is a part of the church I call my bride. She said she trembled when she was told she had to use those words and she didn't want to post it or tell people.

An angel told her some interesting things. Asked her if she thought it was still possible for the country to repent. She responded she didn't think so, and he told her that's right, it is too late, our punishment is fixed.

Apparently we're at the point in revelation where it will take a day's wages to buy a loaf of bread. "A penny for a measure of wheat."

The Rick Wiles interview was the most interesting.

I think God is working among many people all with their own prophets that speak to them in their own tongue (or vernacular). God is desperate not to lose the vineyard.

L: Wow

MSB: It made me think of the way Denver has approached his assignments. He started speaking our (the LDS) language and has gradually come to the point where we speak with a new understanding, when some few would finally have enough belief to trust in the words of the BoM regarding authority and baptism. He mentioned in TSC about his law professor who taught them in a way that they all thought they would fail and were about to go to the Dean. But at the end a light came on, and the genius of his method came through. I don't know how much of that was planned by D and how much it was the way the Lord worked it out, but I think that is why that viginette was included.

Mena is struggling to tell people there is a rapture before the Second Coming and that they need to be able to speak with the Lord and have their own relationship and rapture. (LDS terminology, The Second Comforter) Some evangelicals accused it of being a doctrine of devils.

In her visions she is taught with the scriptures.

I'll believe Mena is a prophet before Bret Corbridge.

I always wondered how people would come to Zion with their own prophets and us not know about them, but apparently they are in plain site.

Obscurity hides them.

L: Corbridge...Did that come up with the family you visited?

MSB: Yeah. He said he's going because he got an answer to go. He then said he may be going just to judge everyone! He didn't seem thrilled with it.

L: Interesting. Jeff was pretty set on it being the right thing for him to do.

MSB: At least he didn't assume "go" meant it was going to be great.

Yeah, Jeremiah was the one that wrote a revelation to the king wasn't he, and was thrown in a sewer?

L: He gave many prophecies, a lot were in front of everyone, including king and other officials.

MSB: Check out Bare Record's latest.

L: Wow. Now we'll see what happens I suppose.

MSB: Tim Malone interviewed Denver.

Tim asked about spiritual dances and Heavenly Mother worship.

D said he thinks they'll be very surprised to find out what she thinks about such innovations when they meet her.

L: I heard that. He seemed to be taking shots at it. I came across the conversation Jeremiah had with the Jews living in Egypt after Jerusalem was sacked. They were claiming protection through a heavenly mother or female god. Said his prophecies were of no interest to them.

MSB: Jews said Jeremiah's prophecies were of no interest?

L: The ones in Egypt did...essentially

"As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the Lord, we will not hearken unto thee. But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil. But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine. And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men?" (Jeremiah 44:16-19)

"Queen of heaven."

MSB: Weird.

Sounds like Bret.

L: Yeah. Gifts are conduits used by both sides

MSB: How did you come to read that? What prompted a reading of Jeremiah?

L: I can't remember honestly. I read the contemporary English version which was a really easy read. Going to Ezekiel now. I want the context around the verses ds read.
