I think it will be increasingly important in the coming days to have your faith in the sure place. If your faith is grounded in men and the titles they claim to hold you may suffer great disappointment. There is only one sure place to put your faith, and that is in Christ.

It is interesting in that many Christians claim Biblical infallibility, but it isn't God the Father, God the Son, God the Bible. It's God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. The Bible is a sealed book without the Holy Spirit.

The Bible was written by men who were inspired, it was also translated by men, who were not necessarily inspired, copied by men with various motives and therefore dimmed by time. It requires God residing in us to unseal truth to our minds.

Likewise, many I know have the same doctrine of infallibility in their church and their leaders. They will struggle with the whole of their belief in God, because what they have set up in place of God is a false idol. God is not the Bible, God is not a church, God is not leaders who claim to be His. God must reside in us to sort the truth from the error, otherwise cursed is he that putteth his trust (or faith) in the arm of flesh, or maketh flesh his arm.

Any leader who is really His would teach this, any leader who is not would teach you to rely on them. For it will come to pass that "they who are not apostles and prophets shall be known," and it shall be proved -- not by those claiming those titles -- but by the "inhabitants of Zion" who "shall judge all things". (D&C 64:38-39)

Both of these groups, by their tradition, deny the Holy Spirit's role in teaching truth.
