We have been gathered, each in our own way, independently. Whether in the constitution, secret combinations, education, health, religion, each in their own way, each unaware of each other until we found that we, having been friendless and enduring alone the shame of the world have found an abundance of friends. We are all, each of us, being gathered into something.
