True Christianity is a dynamic living faith, which Paul said was "not in word, but in power."1

Mankind is worn out with listening to what the prophets of old said or did.2 And unless we can bring the power of God back to a lifeless religion, it will always be a thing of naught,3 and we will never see the day when we no more speak about the miracles Moses did when he brought some slaves out of Egypt.4

The day will come, it just won't be us who rose to accomplish it. We seem to be content sitting around Ciaphas saying, "What will God do?"

Jesus taught the key:

"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples." (John 15:4-8)

And again:

"Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him." (John 14:17-21)

There are some sects which teach that man should not seek this communion, but these "leaders" afflict the virtuous with their shafts of envy. They say as their fathers always have in the past that "It is not to be believed, it is all of the devil."
