"And he shall rise the third day from the dead; and behold, he standeth to judge the world; and behold, all these things are done that a righteous judgment might come upon the children of men." (Mosiah 3:10)

Christ came in the exact likeness of the Father and demonstrated what kind of judgements God passes upon mankind. While the religious leaders were putting burdens on men's backs, Christ was removing them. He came to show the Love of God, to forgive, to teach, to lift, to show patience, to offer no condemnation to the broken sinner. The "righteous judgement" that required an atonement and great sacrifice to enable was forgiveness. The Lion drenched in blood that will come is to show you how greatly you are loved. We will pass our own judgements upon ourselves at the horror of what immeasurable Love we offended. Yet a righteous judgment will be passed, and we will understand greater love still.

"I hold no offense against you. I love you still."
