So in case none of you know, me, my bros. and dad had a spiritual moment in the truck on the way home from Florida.1 We had been listening to Denver Snuffer and Dad was talking to TRB, and I had a question. So I decided to ask God about it, because from what I've learned through Denver is that it is necessary to ask questions (either verbal or not). So i asked, "Dear Heavenly Father, how were we as intelligences then how did we get spirit bodies and then physical bodies, and how does it all make sense?" The answer is complicated to explain, but I'll do my best to do so. Anyway he said our intelligences were created from our heavenly parent's divine thoughts, or in other words pure mental connections between two beings. Then Heavenly Mother bore each of us through pregnancy into our spirit bodies. You see, our bodies are an embodiment for our intelligences and then our Father created our physical body from the dust of the earth, or clay. And that was the answer. My dad reminded me that I told him that the reason for both bodies is cuz we need to be balanced; it is absolutely necessary. What that means is that the spirit, desires all things godly, literally, and the flesh does not exactly desire all things devilish, it is just attracted to the bad or it is rebellious; and the bad and good are always balanced equally so that your chance to enter unto eternal life is always open for your choice to do so; unless you commit the unpardonable sin to deny the Holy Ghost. Denver says that the Holy Ghost has no other effect then knowledge thus the name "spirit of prophecy" and to deny it means to see God and all, from the beginning to the end and then deny it. There. That's it. I could go on, but nah. By the way my punctuation is bad.

Notes

1. We were driving home on Sunday January 11th, 2015.

Dad's note:

MSBJ's answer is interesting to me, because it wasn't simple static words that he repeated. Thoughts flowed into his mind that he then had to find words to express. He has not expressed those thoughts the same way every time he has brought that revelation up. I would ask him about a specific part, and he said basically "oh, yeah. That too, but I wouldn't say it that way, it was like this..." Not only was it a revelation at the time, but as he has pondered on it, he has gained more light.

This is curious to me also because he has not ever read Beloved Enos, and I have not discussed the parts which discuss this subject with anyone because I have not yet been able to comprehend them. Yet, here it is again.

Knowledge and Prophecy go hand-in-hand because in the heavenly sense "truth is knowledge of things as they are, and as they were, and as they are to come." (D&C 93:24)

"And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call." (Joel 2:28-32)

"He [Moroni] also quoted the second chapter of Joel, from the twenty-eighth verse to the last. He also said that this was not yet fulfilled, but was soon to be. And he further stated that the fulness of the Gentiles was soon to come in. He quoted many other passages of scripture, and offered many explanations which cannot be mentioned here." (Joseph Smith History 1:41)
